Excellent performance thanks to the “COLD PRESS” manufacturing process and the world's unique AXYLIUM CARBON fiber. The combination of outer Arylate Carbon layers are the most commonly used in the world. Therefore, XIOM wanted to produce its first “true” Outer Arylate-Carbon blade. After many tests and research, the XIOM development team released two world firsts: AXYLIUM and COLD PRESS. AXYLIUM is a newly discovered Arylate fiber that offers high stability, a clear feel, low vibration, and enormous penetrating power. Its unique orange color stands for a fresh and clear playing feel. 36.5 combines the outer Axylium Carbon with Koto outer veneers, making the blade ideally suited for fast play close to the table. The new "COLD PRESS" technology offers a more sensitive outer veneer with a crisp feel at the same time. Unlike conventional wood manufacturing processes, where a high drying temperature is used, the 36.5 blade uses a low drying temperature for the first time. This makes the blade more forgiving and easier to play, while maintaining its high speed.
