With the Spira, the Korean brand Nexy brings an interesting hybrid rubber made in China to Europe. The rubber has a sponge with a hardness of approx. 47-5°, which for a Chinese rubber has surprisingly high speed and catapult effect. This sponge was combined with a very grippy but soft topsheet, which grips the ball enormously well. This allows for very spin-rich serves and returns with the Spira. The topspin opening is very safe and with a lot of rotation.
