Nexy Joo SaeHyuk
The legend is back! Who doesn't fondly remember the 2003 World Championships in Paris, when the Korean world-class defensive player Joo Sehyuk made it to the final, only to be defeated by the eventual world champion Werner Schlager?
The Korean brand Nexy signed the vice world champion and developed the modern defensive blade Joo Saehyuk, named after him, together with him. The blade features a seven-ply veneer construction and, as is now common, does not use reinforcing carbon fibers. The blade has an enlarged blade face and is slightly head-heavy. The veneer composition was optimized to Joo Saehyuk's specific wishes. The blade offers exceptional feedback and enormous spin potential. At the same time, it is faster than classic defensive blades and allows for brilliant counter-attacks from a distance.
Defensive players with an active game, who have often been overlooked in the past when it came to new developments, will truly enjoy this blade. The blade plays with immense feel and, in addition to the options for spin-rich counter-attacks, offers a secure and effective defense. The Joo Saehyuk can be combined with thin inverted rubbers like the or the , as well as with long pips.
The blade is available with concave and straight handles. The straight handle fits very well in the hand, even for the perhaps larger hands of Europeans, while the concave version is somewhat narrower, as is known from Japanese brands like Nittaku.
