The 1.2mm thick, hard Hinoki outer veneers give the blade not only the traditionally good playing feel but also an extended ball contact time, allowing for extreme spin shots with a high trajectory. This construction gives the blade both stability and elasticity for great penetrating power, enabling very precise play even at high speeds.
