To be successful as a defensive player today, it is extremely important to constantly develop all components of one's game. It is no longer just about defensive chopping from mid-distance. Rather, the defensive player must be able to play variably. This requires pimple rubbers that allow for such a playing system.
Our goal was therefore, together with our long-standing partner, defensive ace Chen Weixing, to develop a long-pimple rubber that meets all aspects of the demands of modern defensive play. The JOOLA CWX is the result of these efforts.
The pink (50°) sponge with built-in Tensor technology offers enormous dynamics for underspin strokes away from the table, but due to the sponge hardness and flat trajectory, it behaves controllably for disruptive strokes close to the table. The grippy microstructure of the pimple heads and the flexibility of the narrow pimple necks also allow for extremely spin-rich defense with the highest control values.
