KILLER SOFT is combined with a significantly softer sponge. The resulting extended dwell time of the ball on the racket provides noticeably more control for almost all strokes, both in passive play (serve reception, push, block) and active play (counter, smash).
Despite its very soft touch, KILLER SOFT is a fast rubber that allows for powerful offensive play.
The improved control also enables less experienced short-pimple players to enter the world of KILLER rubbers.
The disruptive effect remains very pronounced, as almost all balls dip on the opponent's side. Especially when blocking, countering, and smashing, the ball rebounds flat and leads to many direct points.
The best compromise between attack options, control, and disruptive effect is achieved with 1.3 and 1.5mm sponge thicknesses.
With thicker gauges (1.8, 2.0, and MAX), the rubber becomes increasingly faster, but with decreasing control and disruptive effect.
The rubber was developed in collaboration with the company TT-Xpert.
KILLER SOFT offers an optimal introduction to our proven KILLER series and is a lot of fun!
