Our Anti-Spin rubber A-B-S 2 has quickly become a reference for blocking at the table with frictionless anti-spin rubbers, especially in combination with ABS balls.
This new version A-B-S 2 SOFT is glued with the same pink dampening sponge, but features a revised, slightly softer rubber compound.
This results in improved control and an even further reduced susceptibility to angles when blocking, especially against hard-hitting topspins with little rotation.
Overall, A-B-S 2 SOFT provides even better ball feedback for use with ABS balls.
The spin reversal achieved remains unchanged. However, it has even been possible to improve offensive options. It is now possible to shoot at chopped balls with a flick of the wrist, and counter-balls are also easier to play.
For the first time in the field of frictionless anti-spin rubbers, with A-B-S 2 SOFT, in addition to the passive block on topspin balls, a soft forward block movement can also be produced. This causes the ball to dive and even provides spin reversal.
This means it is no longer necessary to always play every ball short.
As with the slightly harder A-B-S 2 version, this new, slightly softer variant can also unleash its danger on fast offensive blades thanks to its excellent control values.
