Characteristic of the new DONIC Alligator Combi is the difference in speed this blade offers between forehand and backhand. The AR/DEF blade is made of 5 carefully matched plies: The core consists of soft balsa, which makes the blade very light and relatively stiff. On the forehand side, two harder, faster veneers are used, while the backhand side features slightly softer and thus slower veneers. This allows for good hitting power with topspins and smashes on the forehand. Due to the high control values on the backhand side, DONIC Alligator Combi is perfectly suited for both safe defense behind the table and active disruption and blocking at the table.
