The VS > 402 Double Extra is the logical evolution of the very popular VS > 401.
The very grippy, elastic top sheet was combined with a modern, slightly harder offensive sponge. This innovative sponge-top sheet combination makes this High Energy Tension rubber the ideal weapon for all spin-oriented all-rounders. The extremely grippy and flexible top sheet literally grips the ball, providing fantastic spin development for both offensive topspin shots and heavily undercut defensive shots. The optimized offensive sponge of the VS > 402 Double Extra provides even more dynamics compared to the VS > 401, which is a great advantage, especially for offensive topspin shots. Despite this additional speed gain, very controlled and at the same time dangerous undercut variations can still be produced.
