Consisting of five wood plies and two layers of acrylic-carbon, which are slightly thicker compared to the Hurricane Long 5, the Hurricane Long 5X provides you with such high penetrating power that any slight loss of speed due to the plastic ball can be more than compensated for. The great trick with the Hurricane Long 5X is the arrangement of the plies. The two layers of acrylic-carbon are positioned around the core. This special construction prevents the unique playing feel from being too much affected by the directness of the carbon intermediate layers.
