About Us

Founder and Managing Director Jürgen

Over 25 years ago, Jürgen and a few friends founded the table tennis shop Futurespin while still studying. What started as a fun student project can now be admired in Weppersdorf on over 1000 square meters! In the Middle Franconia/Upper Franconia region, he has been known for years for his close customer contact, and as a manager at DJK SpVgg Effeltrich in the 3rd Bundesliga, he also ensures plenty of table tennis in his life!

Partner Alex

Alex was discovered by Jürgen as a table tennis talent in 2002, and since then, their paths have crossed repeatedly. Ultimately, Alex started a part-time job at Jürgen's table tennis shop in 2013 and gave coaching lessons at the shop. When the opportunity arose in 2019, he joined full-time and has been managing the business with Jürgen ever since. You primarily see him on our social media channels when he's walking through the warehouse again or testing a new rubber! His passion for table tennis culminated as a player in the 3rd Bundesliga with DJK SpVgg Effeltrich.

Online Shop Team - Marius

Marius, like Alex, was discovered by Jürgen as a talent at a young age. He currently plays in the 3rd Bundesliga for DJK SpVgg Effeltrich and can contribute his expertise as a high-class player to Futurespin. If you want technique tips in addition to material advice, Marius is the right person to talk to!

Online Shop Team - Jens

Jens has been with us since 2019. He is still an active Verbandsliga player and a youth coach at TSV Stein. He is our material expert! If you have no idea which new backhand rubber would suit your blade, he's the one to ask. He is regularly in sales at the shop and can always give you top advice!
